Oh wow, I have such a thing for multi-layered outfits and the details on this one........Incredible. Also love how you gave her such a confident but also capable pose, she sure looks like she can drop them at a 1000 yards.
Yeah her outfit was sweet to work with... I really didn't modify it from the original screenshot (She's a GuildWars character) because it looked so cool. I'm glad you like her pose... Lol, I struggled a bit with it... Got her legs down right away, but she was armless until pretty much the end. I'm glad what I tacked on looks good XD
Yeppers, I use photoshop.... mainly CS, but really any photoshop has the tools you'd need for that kind of stuff..it's pretty basic. Mebe someday I'll post a little walkthrough, since not everyone has a method for cleaning their lines.....though mine can be a little labor intensive, as most of the work is done manually by erasing the grit and defining the lines with my own stylus.
Thank you for letting me though, advice like this helps me a lot in future practices for my art ^^ I really want to improve as much as I can, and would like to get noticed more now ; it's hard lmao....
Yeah... I believe the character is from Guild Wars (The screenshot looked like that style) They have sweet outfits in that game (Only thing I modified was bringing her leg armour up higher to thigh-height instead of just knees)
^^ Well how I'm doing things right now, is I'm gonna keep all the slots closed until I finish all the commissions in those slots. That way when I open up again I'll be 100% free. Sooo basically it may take a little longer, but when I open again you'll have a pretty good chance of getting a slot
(And I would love to draw some fanasy OC's for you, so keep an eye on my commission journal ^^)
I can't say I replicated the plating super accurately, but meh, it turned out right? lol. Just don't look too closely or you'll see how irregular they all are (Shh, I'm calling them "organic" looking as an excuse) her face though I am quite happy with 8>
